DJ Craze, born Aristh Delgado in Managua, Nicaragua, moved with his family to Miami as a child and grew up there. Known for turntablism, he won the DMC World DJ Championship three consecutive times, from 1998 to 2000. His work spans hip-hop, drum and bass, Miami bass, trap and breaks, and in 2008 he served as Kanye West’s DJ on the Glow in the Dark Tour. He is also a five-time DMC champion, and his styles include dubstep and other dance music.
Craze co-founded Slow Roast Records with producer Kill the Noise and Cartel Recordings with drum-and-bass DJ Juju. He collaborated with Codes on the single Deeper, released on Slow Roast Records. The pair also worked on a remix of “Big Bad Wolf.” Craze and Kill the Noise co-founded Slow Roast Records in 2010. His albums include Crazee Musick (1999), Scratch Nerds (2002), and D-Day (2002), made with his turntable crew, the Allies.
