DotEXE is Chicago producer Scott Stanley, who began releasing music under the name in 2011 with Monstercat’s Kill It With Fire. His releases for the label include Hipster Cutthroat, Inside Out, and Battle Cry, as well as the EP Vivify. Stanley also releases music as Summer Was Fun and worked with Tristam on I Am Going Down. DotEXE has worked in drumstep, drum and bass, and dubstep. He has been active as a DJ and producer since 2010. He released the album Classics.Exe in 2015.
Other credits include a remix of Cash Cash’s Overtime with Candyland, and the singles Stay Awake and Smash Your Serato. DotEXE also released the singles Monster (Rework) and Internet Police. In 2018, DotEXE released Doggo with Terms & Conditions on the Terms & Conditions label. In 2025, he released the single Nothing To Go Back To.
