Echomatics began making music in their early 20s after receiving a computer and Cubase from a sound engineer, following more than 20 years of exploring electronic music. Liquid drum & bass is among Echomatics’ biggest musical influences, and their music is tagged as drum & bass and liquid drum & bass. Echomatics is based in Vancouver, Canada.
In 2022, Echomatics released the EP Deep in Thought on C Recordings. In 2023, Echomatics released the EP Move On on DNBB Records, marking a debut for the label; its two tracks are “Cyber” and “Move On”. The 2024 EP Daydream appeared on T3K.
In May 2025, C Recordings released the four-track Where We Belong EP, whose tracks are “Silver Lining,” “Distant Pulse,” “Second Sun” and “Where We Belong.” The EP’s music is tagged as liquid drum & bass as well as drum & bass. Echomatics’ music has also appeared on Soul Deep, Glitch Audio and Beats In Mind. Producers in the BSA gang and labels including Fokuz, Celsius, Beats In Mind, DNBB and Soul Deep have supported Echomatics. In 2026, Echomatics released “Passing Through” on C Recordings; the track also appears on the EP Gravity Let Go.
