Floret Loret is the stage name of Fernando Loret de Mola, an electronic producer from Lakeland, Florida. He began producing music in 2015 after discovering electronic music during college. Loret has said that his father’s gardening helped inspire the nature and garden imagery in his music, and that producing is an outlet for thoughts and experiences. His debut EP, Tangled Roots, drew on personal experiences and used flowers and plants as a recurring theme. He has cited Flume, Electric Mantis and G Jones as influences.
In 2019, Deadbeats released his EP Secluded Garden. His releases also include EPs on mau5trap and Bassrush, alongside singles on Quality Goods Records and Electric Hawk. He collaborated with Zeds Dead on “Reason,” which appeared on We Are Deadbeats Vol. 4, and has also worked with Siska, Silva, Low Poly and CAPSHUN. Loret and Havoc developed their collaboration “Unfold” by exchanging drafts and ideas after meeting through Havoc’s manager. His releases also include Verdant Horizon on Odyzey and Lightsplinter on Deadbeats. He released the EP Endeavors in 2024.
