Hillsdom

From Essex, Hillsdom are Jake Hicks and Jack Pike, schoolmates who first played together in rock bands before turning their attention to drum & bass. Pike plays guitar and Hicks drums, and both have said their shared experience as musicians helped shape their production. Their early influences included rock, jungle, garage and funk; Pendulum’s album Hold Your Colour helped inspire them to explore drum & bass. Among their early releases were “Lucid Dreams”, featuring Novokane, and “Can’t Lie”, featuring Solo Jane. They have also released music on Pilot, Viper, RAM Records, Program and Soulvent Records.

Hillsdom released the single “Fauxtopia / Gaslight” with Maddy on RAM Records, and collaborated with In:Most on “Chasm” for Soulvent Records. Their Soulvent releases include the singles “Good 4 U” and “Messy”; the latter arrived in August 2026. Hicks and Pike’s shared roots in bands predate their drum & bass work, with Pike’s guitar and Hicks’s drums forming part of the musical background they have brought to the duo.
