Teenage Kush Jones learned computer-based production through an after-school programme, developing his work in the Bronx, New York. Jones has named Traxman, Spinn, DJ Rashad and RP Boo as inspirations from juke and footwork. The first music came out through trill.wav Records, a label he found while searching for an outlet for his productions. His self-released EP Blockwerk was among his early work, followed by the 2017 single Drop the Bass EP on Party Guy Records.
His 2020 collaboration with DJ Swisha, “Outta Bounds”, drew on footwork and Baltimore club, among other styles. That year, Jones also appeared on RA Podcast 732. His work has come out through Future Times, HAUS of ALTR and Moveltraxx, and his music brings together footwork, techno and club music with influences from hip-hop, dancehall and experimental sounds.
Jones released the album JAMS and the album Building; “Tekno Track” features Kanyon. His later releases include the 2022 EP Aquarius Rising and the 2023 EP (Respectfully), a collaboration with DJ Swisha. In 2025, he released the single Sin Jyuk Guen EP on Trekkie Trax. His 2026 single “33” came out on Something Public Records.
