LMNOP

Los Angeles native Zach Schwartz leads LMNOP, an electronic duo with partner LIL Z. Schwartz studied acting and puppetry at the California Institute of the Arts, while his interest in music and performance reaches back to childhood. Schwartz’s father is a children’s singer-songwriter, and growing up around his live shows influenced Schwartz’s interest in storytelling as well as performance. LMNOP began as Schwartz’s first DJ name, drawn from a favourite sequence of letters and memories from childhood. The project later brought Schwartz and LIL Z together as a duo based in Los Angeles.

LMNOP’s early full-length work followed the EP Trash, released on Space Yacht. The duo’s debut full-length album, Alphabet Soup Vol. 1, came out on Dome of Doom. Its collaborators include Fernando Ebano, Sara Diamond, Christinna O, Fat Tony and Horsepowar, alongside other contributors. LMNOP joined the Dome of Doom roster in 2016, and released the EPs Rose Gold and Gold on the label. The project has also released music through Play Me Records, Viper Recordings, RAM Records and Mad Decent, extending its label connections beyond Dome of Doom and Space Yacht. The duo’s second full-length album is PSYOP, its first project devoted entirely to Jump Up Drum & Bass. In 2019, LMNOP collaborated with NNAMDÏ on the single J Walk.

LMNOP makes high-energy jump-up drum and bass, and builds its live performances around the duo’s characters and the way they interact. The project’s releases include a remix of ZOF’s “Psychosomatic”, issued on Dome of Doom. In 2023, LMNOP released Darchovny on SFLA Records and Move On with Mikos Da Gawd and Olivia Prado. The 2024 single Vamos (Future Fire Vol.4), featuring SIREN, appeared on Viper Recordings. In 2026, LMNOP released Parking Lot with Tima Dee on Gorilla Warfare, followed by Moves Like Fire (Deekline, Blank Canvas Remix) with BERTO ANTONIO, Blank Canvas and Deekline on Play Me Records.
