Nymfo, the artist name of Bardo Camp, began DJing as a teenager, playing gabber before moving into drum and bass. From Eindhoven, Camp became part of the Dutch crew Red Zone and helped organise the Red Zone and ICON nights. He also co-ran Eindhoven’s Red Zone nights with Martyn for more than a decade. In 2005, Nymfo won the award for best Dutch drum and bass DJ. The early single Shadows Of Tomorrow / Unbreakable, made with Icicle, appeared on Critical Music in 2007; Camp has also worked with Icicle as a producer. Nymfo is based in the Netherlands.
In 2016, Nymfo released the Marching Machines EP on Dispatch Recordings. Its track “Affliction” was made with DLR, while “Forward Motion” brought in Total Science. Nymfo’s releases have also appeared on Commercial Suicide, Critical Music, RAM Records, Hospital Records and Metalheadz. Other collaborators include Klute and S.P.Y., as well as Black Sun Empire, whose work with Nymfo included the Mud EP. Nymfo said Camp often works with samples, while Black Sun Empire brought a more technical, plugin-focused approach to their joint production. His label associations also include 31 Records and Samurai Music.
The 2025 single “Mirrors” paired Nymfo with Zohar on Dekmantel. That year, he played at Melkweg and VIERNULVIER. In 2026, he played at Melkweg, ANTIA and Geestmerambacht, where Liquicity Festival took place. Other 2026 singles include “Boilerbeek (Zohar & Nymfo Remix)” with Zohar on SDBAN ULTRA, and “Blud (feat. MC Mota)” with MC Mota and ReauBeau on Dark Machine (Label). “Onryō V/A” appeared on Tekken Audio with FPX DJ & Encrypt, Rregula & Dementia, and Stryke & Fenkari. “Punk (feat. Ava Sofia) [Too Martian Remix]” was released on Sweat It Out with Ava Sofia, ReauBeau and Too Martian.
