Peter Lix began DJing jungle and drum and bass on pirate radio station Rude FM at the age of 15, moving into production in his late teens. Based in London, Lix was part of the electronic production trio Beatfreaks, which achieved major-label and chart success, before pursuing solo work. Lix created Dojo Audio as an outlet for solo drum and bass releases; the label’s name was inspired by time spent in the Far East.
Lix released the single Freedom on Dojo Audio in 2020. In 2024, the single No Compromise came out on Interstellar Audio, while HEADSBASS VOLUME 13 - PART ONE was released on Beats In Mind. Lix describes his current music as emotive drum and bass. The 2026 singles include Fall From Grace and Sweeping Leaves, both on Dojo Audio, and View From Nowhere, released the same year. Lix also released the tracks The Dreamer, From The Start and Somewhere. His 2026 singles include Letter for a Friend.
