Formed in Prague in 2017, Ripple brings together Czech producers PmdR and Spill, who met in a studio before starting the drum-and-bass duo. PmdR has described moving through punk rock and metal, then hip-hop, before finding drum and bass. Spill has credited discovering dubstep and drum and bass through the UKF YouTube channel with shaping their musical development. Ripple’s 2018 single “Portal / Infinite River” appeared on Skankandbass, and the duo later released music independently as well as through established labels.
The 2019 EP Crypto EP came out on Space Pirate Recordings and includes “Space Moth”, a collaboration with Furious Freaks. Ripple has also worked with Neonlight on the track “Goin’ Hard”. The duo releases drum-and-bass music through its Ripple LTD imprint and became a resident act at Let It Roll. Later singles include “Feels Like” on Elevate Records in 2022, followed by 2024 releases “Crazy About Me” on Pulsation Sound, “Stay” on Liquicity Records and “Gimme” on NCS. Ripple’s 2026 single “Good Time” was released on Ripple LTD.
