England-based producer Rowney says he has been making drum & bass for more than 15 years. He emerged through the G13 collective and, with Propz, launched Manchester label G13 Records in 2008. Rowney and Propz also work with MCs Toddlah and TNT as the Standard Procedure collective. His releases have appeared on Low Down Deep, Serial Killaz, Subway Soundz, Viper Recordings, Shadow Demon Records, Radius, Undiluted, Boujee Bass and Banished Beats.
In 2021, Rowney released his debut artist album, Defining Moments, on Shadow Demon Records. His work with Propz includes the 2014 single “Plots Plans / Disruptive” on G13 Records. Rowney also collaborated with Trigga on “Rise Of An Empire”, released as a single on Shadow Demon Records in 2017, and “Dun Dem”, a 2020 single for the same label. In 2024, he released the digital track “Doomed” and the single “Over Looked” with Bunnerz on Gradient Records.
In 2025, Rowney released the single “Filthy Dog (Rowney Remix)” with Dominator on Low Down Deep Recordings. His 2026 single “Sound Fi Dead (Conrad Subs Remix)” was released with Conrad Subs on Grand Theft Audio Recordings UK.
