Centonze has made music since 1997, including IDM and experimental electronic work under the name Blisaed. Before presenting Seathasky as a project focused on electronic music, he made music as Blisaed for netlabels.
In 2006, Seathasky released the EP Exist on Monotonik, with Troupe featuring on its title track.
Seathasky is the artist name of Matthew Centonze, a U.S.-based producer and DJ whose work spans liquid drum and bass and ambient cinematic compositions. In 2010, he released the EP Swarm / Just A Filler on Offworld Recordings, featuring “Swarm” and “Just a Filler.” His album The Past in My Mind followed on the label in 2011, with LM1 on “Over” and Jaybee on “Hex.”
Centonze has also released music through Fokuz Recordings, Scientific Recordings, Absys Records and Celsius Recordings, as well as Connessione Recordings, his own imprint. His 2019 single “Never Leave/Melt” came out on Yumi Recordings, followed by “Scither / Feel Again” on Glitch Audio in 2021. His Fokuz releases include the EPs Alone, Feel This Way and Through It All; he made the Fokuz EP Distant with Collette Warren. He also released “Circles” through Offworld Recordings and “Fighting For A Change.”
Centonze collaborated with NOTAKU on “Alone.” Their collaboration also produced “Afterthought,” released as a Fokuz single in 2026. Seathasky remixed Kleer’s “The Current” for Offworld Recordings. His 2024 single “Sprites” appeared on Celsius Recordings, and “I was wrong” came out on Connessione Recordings in 2026.
