Stakka & Skynet, the drum-and-bass duo Shaun Morris (Stakka) and Nathan Vinall (Skynet), joined forces to make music with a dark, futuristic sound. They founded Audio Blueprint as an outlet for experimental, techno-edged productions and Underfire for high-energy dancefloor music, and ran Zero Gravity as a sister label. The duo released the albums Voyager, Blazin and Clockwork; their partnership ended after the Clockwork era.
Morris and Vinall formed their partnership in 1997, the same year they created Underfire Records. In 1999, they released Blueprint Archive on Audio Blueprint. Their work also appeared on Moving Shadow and Renegade Hardware, where their remix of Usual Suspects’ “Shrapnel” came out on a 12-inch with DJ Reality’s “Detroit Blues (Moving Fusion remix).”
The duo collaborated with Dom & Roland, Konflict and K-Tee. Their track “Bios-Fear” was made with Kemal and Rob Data, while Keaton, Shimon, DJ Red, DJ Friction and DJ Skinny were among the artists who worked with them. In 2003, Matrix and Stakka & Skynet released the single “Landslide / Black Monday.”
