Subsonic is the stage name of UK drum-and-bass producer Harry Peters. His collaborations include tracks with K Motionz, Sub Focus, Dimension and Friction. With Dimension, he made Ghost Town. Peters began producing dubstep in 2012 and moved into drum and bass around 2015, after meeting K Motionz, who introduced him to jump-up drum and bass. He has said that 2010s dubstep, including music by Skrillex, Cookie Monsta and Nero, first drew him into electronic music. His releases have appeared on Crucast, Pilot and Elevate.
His releases include Launchpad, Genesis and Feel Ur Touch, as well as collaborations with Delta Heavy. The single Where You Are features Shadxwgirl. Last Time and Need Me have each received millions of streams. He is from Stafford, Staffordshire, and began building his production craft at age 16.
With Friction and Hannah Boleyn, he remixed Teardrop (Friction & Subsonic Remix). In 2025, he released All I Need on Bassrush Records. In 2018, he released Messiah / Escape with Tsuki on Down 2 Easy. He also made That Acid (Dimension & Subsonic Remix) with Dimension for EXTATIC Records, and released Genesis II on Subsonic : Frequencies.
