YASUKI Morioka began DJing in Kyoto in 2006 before moving to Tokyo in 2013, where YASUKI is based as a drum and bass DJ and producer. Since 2016, YASUKI has held a residency at the 06S drum and bass event, which takes place at WOMB. His releases have appeared on Manifest, the US label, and Device, the UK label; Viper Recordings is another UK outlet for his music. In December 2023, YASUKI performed at Kosoku Japan Music Fes, as well as at Tokyo drum and bass events including 06S.
Among his Manifest releases are the single “Think Of You” and the EP Don't Look Back. His collaborations include “Higher” with ICONS, “Every Time You’re Closer” with Drumsuko and “Turn On The Power” with AFTERS. “Underground” brought together YASUKI, Rhepuls and Rainman ZA. The single “Can You Hear Me” came out on Avex EDM, while “Selfish” was released on Outertone in 2023. In January 2025, Manifest issued the EP All Night, which reached number 10 on Beatport’s Drum & Bass release chart. YASUKI is a frequent Manifest artist by release volume.
In 2026, YASUKI released “Rave Generation” with Boston Switch on hype engine records, “Dreams” with Xtinctor on Automata Music and “I’m In Love” with NBC9 on LoveThatBass. Manifest also released “Turn On The Power” as a single in 2026. That year, YASUKI’s releases included the single “Reload It (YASUKI Remix)” on Night On Earth Records, credited with Bob Ranks and Tanukichi. His 2026 appearances included dates at WOMB, ZEROTOKYO, HVEN and UTOPIA / DYSTOPIA, with a further set at BRAND SHIBUYA in April.
