YUSSI is the stage name of Australian producer Cameron Uys, from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Hearing Mind Vortex’s remix of “Silent Shadows” first drew Uys to drum & bass, and Pendulum later strengthened his interest in the genre. He has named Muzz and Feint among his early influences. His music also draws on rock, hip-hop, country, house and commercial dance, alongside drum & bass. Uys has described combining strong melodies and chords with sounds that hit hard in a live setting, and points to regular releases and years of practice as important to career growth.
In 2022, YUSSI released the single TURN IT on Dark Machine. Later releases brought the producer to Monstercat, where singles include TELL ME and Enemies. His Monstercat work also includes collaborations with MÆDM, WIMBO and OHKAY. YUSSI’s releases have appeared on Crucast, High Tea Music and Wobbles & Waffles, as well as DnB Active Records. In 2024, Uys toured Australia and New Zealand before releasing the album NONSTOP.
YUSSI recalls supporting Luude and Chase & Status on tour in 2024 as a major career moment, and also singles out playing the Rampage main stage with Tantron. In 2025, a remix of Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song” helped lead into YUSSI’s first international tour. The producer also made an official remix of “No Regrets” by KSHMR, Krewella and Yves V. The single LIKE THAT, a collaboration with MÆDM, came out on Monstercat in 2026.
Other 2026 releases include I Run on HMG, Can’t Stop with XLVR on DnB Active Records, and Hold On with French The Kid on DnB Allstars. Let The Ground Shake, made with MARA, arrived through Wobbles & Waffles. YUSSI also released UNTAMED, featuring Mami, Ponz, Elipsa, MadRush MC, Coppa Komanche, XLVR, Tantron and Sophie-Grace. In July 2026, YUSSI played at A38.
