Zardonic

Zardonic is producer and DJ Federico Ágreda Álvarez, born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, and based in Germany. He began the project in 2004, combining drum and bass with metal elements because he felt something was missing from the music he heard at raves. The name was inspired by “sardonic,” and the mask, which first appeared in 2012, developed from a logo based on his face and became part of his performance. His work also includes composing, remixing, sound design, and mixing and mastering, and he is a member of the Association of German Sound Engineers. An early release was the 2006 single Inherit/Jason, made with Mark Tailor for Flexible Records.

In 2025, Zardonic released Fearless on Wool Music and Going Under (Zardonic Remix) with HIGHSOCIETY and Micah Martin on FiXT. His 2026 releases included Kernel Breaker (Remix) with The Last Bear Ender, Push Through The Water (Remix) with Cypher16, and In Case Of Emergency (Zardonic Remix) with A Killer's Confession on MNRK Music. He played at La Fabriek on 14 February 2026 and Fabric on 6 March 2026.
