Kipsy - Step Counter

Soul Deep Exclusives proudly presents Snakes-n-Ladders, a standout new release from drum & bass producer Kipsy. Known for bringing a refreshing level of musicality to the genre, Kipsy returns with a cohesive five-track project that captures the warmth, depth, and energy of the liquid sound. Released on Soul Deep Exclusives, this EP pushes the boundaries of atmospheric jungle and liquid funk, weaving infectious groove-driven arrangements into rich, full-bodied productions built for both discerning headphones and packed dancefloors.

At its core, Snakes and Ladders shines a spotlight on Kipsy’s signature blend of liquid drum & bass infused with rich, funk-filled elements. The EP opens strong with the vocal-laced warmth of "He Says" before transitioning into the rolling grooves and playful tension of the title track, "Snakes-n-Ladders." As the journey continues, "Roll Up" delivers a dose of irresistible funk energy, followed by the slick, bounce-heavy rhythms of "Popcorn." The project culminates with "Step Counter," a masterfully crafted cut that ties together deep rolling sub-bass and crisp, rhythmic percussion.

With its vibrant live-feel elements and effortless funk attitude, Snakes-n-Ladders highlights Kipsy's growing artistry and firmly reaffirms Soul Deep Exclusives as a premier destination for top-tier soulful drum & bass. Whether you're looking for smooth, atmospheric vibes or high-energy liquid funk to move your feet, this release delivers on all fronts. The Snakes-n-Ladders EP is available now for streaming and download on all major digital platforms.
