Amit is a pioneering UK-based music artist, composer and producer renowned for reshaping the boundaries of electronic music. Over 2 decades, he has forged a distinctive sonic identity by fusing drum & bass with Asian, Middle Eastern, dub and techno influences earning critical acclaim and a loyal international following.
His sound is characterized by dub-influenced heavy sub-bass with dark, cinematic, and minimalist soundscapes. He's released on some of dnb’s most estemmed imprints like Metalheadz, Commercial Suicide, ThirtyOne, Exit Records and his own label AMAR. His productions frequently feature non-traditional elements like tabla and dhol-style acoustic hits, and his experimental snare placement pioneered the halftime genre.
