Rough Times Party: Calyx

A heavyweight Calyx booking brings dark-edged drum & bass to Volks for a focused late-night session.

Calyx takes the headline at Rough Times Party, bringing a heavyweight drum & bass booking to Volks in Brighton. On Saturday 7 November, the room gets a late-night date with one artist front and centre: no sprawling bill to decode, just Calyx and the sound that made his name.

Rough Times Party keeps its focus on dark-edged D&B, where rolling momentum meets tougher pressure and the low end does the talking. If you’re after a clean headline booking rather than a genre-hopping night, this one has your attention. Volks hosts from 11pm; entry is 18+. Keep your ears open for Calyx’s precise switches and heavier turns.
