Earstorm releases music across drum and bass, house, dubstep and dance-pop, and it is closely tied to Pendulum and Knife Party. Pendulum’s “Spiral / Ulterior Motive” came out on the label in 2003, and Earstorm is credited on the group’s Hold Your Colour (2006), “Blood Sugar” (2007) and Immersion (2010), the last of these issued with Warner Music UK and Atlantic. Pendulum’s 2018 remix collection The Reworks also came out on the label.
Knife Party is the project of Pendulum founding members Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen. Their “100% No Modern Talking” was released digitally through Earstorm in late 2011 and was also given away as a free download, marking the duo’s debut in an aggressive electro house and dubstep style. In 2012 Earstorm and Big Beat released Knife Party’s second EP, Rage Valley, and the label is credited on their later releases, including Abandon Ship (2014). Knife Party and MUZZ released “Ghost Train (Muzz Remix)” through Earstorm in 2019, and Annix and Noisia have also released music on the label.
