Annix is the UK drum-and-bass duo of producers Konichi and Decimal Bass, who have been friends since they were 11 and began making music together at school. Their track “Late Manoeuvre” appeared on the EP The Flavours Vol. 4 before the duo became affiliated with DJ Hype’s Playaz label in 2012. Annix released the album Inception on Playaz in 2013, followed in 2014 by the EPs Past and Future and Digital. The latter is a four-track release. The duo also released the album Forever in 2016 and Tunnel Vision in 2020. Annix are from Cheltenham, and Konichi and Decimal Bass are also known as Scott Farrell and Mike Leeder. DJ Hype and Pascal signed the duo to Playaz Recordings in 2012. Their first Resident Advisor event was in 2015.
Annix remixed Must Die! for OWSLA, the label founded by Skrillex, and released music by State of Mind and Nymfo on Blackout Music. Their approach to remixing begins with finding parts of a track that spark new ideas. They worked with Turno on tracks for the six-track EP The Dog Knows. Blackout Music is Black Sun Empire’s label. In 2012, Annix released the single Kilamanjaro / Unnatural Element on Animated. In 2024, they released Contact (Annix Remix) on Vision Recordings.
Annix launched Neksus Sound with Simula to focus on hybrid jump-up drum and bass. The label’s first release was “Diagram,” a collaboration between Annix, Simula and K Motionz. Annix later released “Shai Hulud” with Mefjus through Neksus Sound, followed by the EP Coalescence EP, featuring Enei, Mefjus, Posij and Phace. In 2025, the duo released Coalescence, an EP featuring Phace and Mefjus. In 2025, Annix released Don't Waste My Time with Blocksberg on Altered States. In 2026, they released 5 Years of Neksus Sound: Remixes Vol. 2 with Fade Black, Mofes and Tian, and Genesis with Mefjus on MODUS.
