Born and raised in Groningen, the Netherlands, Frank Post produces and DJs as Posij. Noisia helped launch his career, signing him to Division Recordings and bringing him into the group’s circle of collaborations and remix work. His early releases included the Empty Lungs EP in 2012, followed by the Hunger EP on MTA Records in 2016. Posij’s music draws on experimental bass, with releases spanning breaks, drum and bass and electronica. He has said he never wanted to tie his production to one genre, and has also named electro, house and techno among the styles he works across.
The Morphing album arrived in 2020. In 2021, Posij released the four-track Blood EP on MAD ZOO, choosing its songs from a larger set of about nine. He said the title track had begun in 2014, years before the EP came out. That same year, he launched OKAY as an outlet for some of his more offbeat electro, breaks and house productions; “Get Along” was the label’s first single. Posij has also worked with Former on the Sun Tracker EP and with Tzar on the single “Fifteen Minutes.”
His collaborations include “i just 1 2” with Buunshin and “Scout” with SLUMBERJACK, both released in 2023. Posij also produces Vision Radio, gathering and mixing music and recording voice-overs for the show. Noisia selects the songs, according to Posij. The show was formerly known as Noisia Radio. He has described “Derivative” as his favourite drum and bass production of his own, and his collaborations also include Andy Smart.
In 2025, Posij released the Coalescence EP on Neksus Sound with Annix and Enei. That year he also made the “CORRUPT us (Posij & ZEP Remix)” with ZEP for PULSE Records, and released “Simplon (Posij Remix)” on Vision Recordings. His 2026 single “Upsinner” came out on OKAY.
