Fallen Tree 1Hundred was founded by Goldie in 2020, extending the work of the Metalheadz founder into music beyond his usual drum-and-bass remit. Based in London, the label releases electronic music that includes songwriting and composition across genres. Its first release was Natalie Duncan’s album Free, issued in July 2020, and early releases also included Bristol-based duo Degrees of Freedom.
Goldie, James Davidson and Osquello released the singles Restless and Something Behind Me through the label in 2020. Searchlight, the Irish drum-and-bass production duo of Zero T and Beta 2, released a self-titled debut album on Fallen Tree 1Hundred in 2022. The label also puts out music through its 1HX imprint. Its 2023 release Searchlight Remixes featured reworks by Mark Force and Afronaut. Goldie explained the name through the image of a large tree, with its branches representing the artists and their music.
