Fizzy Beats was launched in April 2009 as an offshoot of the Fizzy clubnight, founded and run in North West London by DJ and producer Mr Joseph. The label concentrates on drum and bass, while its releases also draw on jungle, dubstep and other styles. Its debut paired Andy Skopes’s “Break It Down You Fool” with Mr Joseph’s “Sexy Lady.” Mr Joseph’s “So High” came later, with Paul T’s “Beautiful Girl” on the other side. The label’s drum and bass output also includes collaborations with T.R.A.C.
Cnof and Western Sea’s “Quiet Happiness” came out on Fizzy Beats in 2017, and “No Pleasure Without Pain,” featuring Mr Joseph and T.R.A.C., followed on March 31, 2021. The label’s output also spans trap and future bass, breaks and electronica. The label is registered to Fizzy Liquid LTD.
