Jekyll & Hyde Recordings was launched in London in 2005 by Potential Badboy as a label for jungle and vocal drum-and-bass. Its first release, “L.O.V.E,” made with reggae singer and MC Yush, came out that same year. Potential Badboy’s final release before the relaunch period was the “Big Man Tings EP,” issued in 2012 with Junior Dangerous and Yush. In 2017, he was focused on relaunching the imprint, which released his single “R.O.A.R” that year. The label’s output also includes recordings by Cowboy Ranger, Junior Dangerous, Yush and MC Fats, alongside releases by Potential Badboy. Later singles include “Dangerous Refix,” released in 2019, and MC Fats’ “Don’t Stop,” issued in 2020.
