Midnight Sun Recordings is a drum and bass label from Helsinki, Finland, founded in 2003 by Physics, Christian Champagne and Kaleb as an outlet for their own music. Phil Wells of Basement Records pushed them to start it after tracks by their group came out on his Pivotal imprint. Physics ran the label and picked the music, testing tracks at gigs and on the radio before release.
The label soon opened up to other producers, choosing tracks on their merits rather than on names, and Muffler, Rameses B and Technimatic have all released there. Physics and XRS's "Sands Of Time" came out in 2005, the compilation Midnight Rollers followed in 2007 with a second volume after it, and Greekboy and MSDOS's "Hold Me, Kiss Me / Walk Besides U" arrived in 2017.
Physics relaunched Midnight Sun in 2016. His Bleed For This EP came out in September 2021, and Telm & Wilson's Dark / Motion Dub with MC Cypha followed in August 2024.
