Panik Records was founded in Athens in 2011 by Paris Kassidokostas-Latsis and George Arsenakos. It operates as a record-label division of Panik Entertainment Group, with a repertoire spanning dance, pop, R&B and mainstream music. The label’s first signings were Playmen, Demy and Midenistis, and it was established to discover and represent young artists. Yellowcake Music Group lists it as a partner label based in Greece, with pop, dance and trap among its genres.
In 2018, Eleni Foureira’s “Fuego” was released by Panik Records; the song represented Cyprus at Eurovision and finished second. The label’s 2021 releases included “ELA”, a single by Demy, Grandbois and Sigma, and Elena Tsagkrinou’s “El Diablo”, Cyprus’s Eurovision entry that year. Panik Entertainment Group’s label roster also includes Panik Platinum, Panik Gold and Panik Oxygen. Other releases by the label include work by Athena Manoukian. Capital Music joined Panik Records in 2018, bringing a roster that included Skive, Light, Mad Clip and FY.
