Formed in Leeds, Sigma is the drum-and-bass duo of Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie. The pair have released music through Breakbeat Kaos, Hospital and 3Beat, and run the independent label Day Ones. Their 2003 single Night & Day EP, Pt. 1 came out on Day Ones. Lenzie has said Sigma’s music helped introduce drum and bass to a wider audience. Sigma is a British DJ and record production duo based in the United Kingdom.
In 2024, Sigma released Rudeboy (Voltage Remix) on All Around The World with Voltage, followed by Badman (skantia Remix) on 3Beat with B Live 247 and skantia. The 2025 single MAGNETIC (Blooom Edit), featuring Blooom and Julia Church, came out on Another Rhythm. In 2026, Sigma released Superstylin’ (Serum Remix) on 0207 Def Jam with Basslayerz, Danny Byrd and Serum, and the Day Ones single ANOTHER ONE with Sweetie Irie. Edwards said Sigma and Take That had discussed working together before their collaboration on Cry came together. Sigma’s first event recorded by Resident Advisor was in 2012.
