Propaganda Audio began in 2020, founded by the drum and bass DJ and producer Sub Zero, whose given name is Jake. He set the label up to put out his own tracks that did not suit Playaz, where he was signed, alongside work by emerging and established artists. Its releases cover jungle, liquid and jump up rather than a single drum and bass style, and Sub Zero also wanted emerging artists to receive feedback, production guidance and promotional support.
Its launch release in 2020 was “Buffalo Stance”, a track by Sub Zero with T95, Genetics and Miss Trouble. In 2021 Sub Zero, T95 and MadRush MC released “Step Back”, and in 2026 Sub Zero teamed up with Burntboi for the single “Bring the Ruckus”. Warhead has also released music on the label. Propaganda Audio is separate from Propaganda Recordings, an earlier joint label run by Sub Zero and Original Sin.
