Gino

Gino is a UK drum & bass DJ and producer from Cambridge, known for tough, gnarly jump-up and heavyweight rollers. Before settling on the name Gino he released music as Rushmore and then as Arnone, his surname.

He started out as a drummer in rock bands. His 2016 AudioPorn release “Monument” and its VIP put the Gino name on the map, with support from Shimon, Benny L and Marky, and in 2018 Red Bull named him one of eight jump-up artists to watch. EPs followed on Macky Gee’s Down 2 Earth Musik (“Hunger Pains”), AudioPorn (“Minor Problems”) and Mollie Collins’ Right Good Records.

In 2022 Gino launched his own label, Clam Records, opening it with “Sanctioned” / “Responsible”. He releases regularly on Crucast, has put out records on Critical Music, including the “Arrivata” EP in 2025, and has worked with Sub Zero, Turno, P Money and Harry Shotta. His remixes include A.M.C, DJ Zinc, Amplify and Creeds, whose “Push Up” remix he signed to Sony Music. He also hosts the It Gets Like That show on Rinse FM.
