Rosebay Music is a drum and bass label founded by producer Submorphics and based in The Hague, Netherlands. Its releases cover drum and bass, including deep and liquid funk, with a focus on soulful, melodic sounds and connections to hip hop and modern soul. Submorphics set up the label as an outlet for music beyond the conceptual projects he made for The North Quarter, including his own singles and work by fellow producers and newer artists.
The name combines “rose” and “bay”, words that had appeared in Submorphics’ track titles; he imagined Rosebay as a fictional place. Its 2023 debut was his two-track single “Blastoff / Cinerama”, followed by further releases from Submorphics, Zar and Azotix. Rosebay Music has also issued DJ Mira’s LP Rhythms of the Rose and Submorphics’ 2026 single “Memory & Collapse”. Its output also includes genre-blending work, remixes and collaborations.
