Snake Pit Records is the London label that Audio, real name Gareth Greenall, started in March 2019 as a home for his drum and bass after his contract with RAM Records ended. He said it gave him more control over his releases and marked a new chapter; he planned to put almost all of his music out there, with occasional tracks and collaborations elsewhere, and left the door open to other artists.
Audio’s “Frog March” was the first release, on March 18, 2019, and “Darkseid”, “Ultrasonic” and “Dead Stock” followed, with “See Saw” arriving in 2022. Stapleton has also released on the label with “Don't Step Too Close”.
