Stonx Music

Founded in 2020 by Liam Noonan and his collaborators, Stonx Music is an independent drum and bass label operating under the Stonx collective. Its wider network brings together producers working across genres, visual artists and technology enthusiasts, and grew from online exchanges of production advice and feedback. Early releases were self-released before the label began putting out work by other artists. Its output includes Anomalies’ “Organic Mechanics”, while Audiot’s “Broken Britain” gained recognition in the drum and bass community.

The label’s releases span work by Stonx, SubCat and Anizo, alongside the annual Disciples of Distortion compilations, which focus on darker, heavier drum and bass. The series reached its fourth volume in 2025, the same year as Annual: 2025; volume five followed on 17 September 2026. Stonx Music also runs the Stonxcast podcast, with episode 197 hosted by Ollie in July 2026.
