Suspended Sounds is the drum and bass label operated by Immersed Recordings, whose founder, Alexander Punj, established both imprints. It launched on June 24, 2022, with a focus on liquid and dancefloor drum and bass. The label set out to bring these styles to audiences in the United States, and its intended sound was emotional and danceable. Its debut release arrived on launch day: Askel & Elere’s remix of “Never Look Back,” a track by Gil Zambrano and Into The Ether. Anwius released the Trust EP in 2022 and On the Last Day EP in 2023 through the label. Beatmool’s releases included the two-track Sonder EP, issued on July 15, 2022, and Torrent EP, released on July 14, 2023.
