The Dreamers Recordings began in Turin in 2015, after Neve had spent years organising Dreamers events there. The drum and bass label also releases jungle. Neve’s aim was to provide a platform for producers with a shared musical vision, not just a channel for his own tracks. It signs artists at different career stages, from newcomers to established acts, and runs events and showcases worldwide.
Was A Be’s “Ten Years EP” was the label’s debut, followed by Kiril’s “Black Noise EP” and releases from Synth Ethics and Lynch Kingsley. In August 2017, the label issued Dream Cycle Vol. 1, its first compilation of original material. Before their label releases, Synth Ethics’ “Vanguard” and “Flexbox” received airplay on Rinse FM and BBC Radio 1Xtra, respectively.
HLZ’s “From The Past” came out on the label in 2016, followed by Samurai Breaks’ “Pump Dat Rave Up” in 2020. Other releases include work by Qua Rush and Airstrike and Lyndon Jarr. Its music ranges across drum and bass and related styles such as footwork, house, garage, half-step and reggae dub. In 2021, the label released music by Audio Gutter and Frame.
