The debut album from British artist Mikal, known in recent years for his releases on Metalheadz, will be released on 5 February. The long-player, titled “Wilderness,” reveals many features of the traditional drum and bass sound as interpreted by Mikal in his own way: from brooding, heavy techstep to measured halfstep and energetic jungle. The album’s guests include vocalist Sophie Barker, producer Riot, and the well-known Break and Chimpo.
