The debut EP on Liquid V by San Francisco-based musician Submorphics features four compositions captivating in their beauty, enhanced by the vocal talents of T.R.A.C. and Christina Tamayo. The "Burnside Park" EP opens with a recitation from one of the most interesting discoveries on the scene in recent years—the Brooklyn rapper T.R.A.C. brings touches of East Coast hip-hop style to the luxurious rolling beat and sunny mood. Metalheadz artist and "Flying Dutchman" Lenzman made a soft and relaxing remix of Submorphics’ first track released on Liquid V, "Burning Love," from the "Club Sessions volume 5" compilation. The mood changes, and the title track features hints of old-school jungle against a fairly cinematic melody. The EP closes with "Forward Boulevard," featuring Christina Tamayo’s ethereal vocals, vocal samples and atmospheric synths.
