BRKALEG

BRKALEG is based in Lisbon and was founded in 2020 by DJ Ki, with Farix as co-founder. Its CONTRATEMPOS events pair radio streams with club nights and focus on bass music, including breaks, dubstep, jungle and drum and bass. Events have taken place at Duro de Matar, Casa Capitão, Arroz Estúdios and Miradouro de Baixo. Past line-ups have included Delikwe, Opalia, DJ Patife and Dom & Roland.

BRKALEG co-promoted a Lisbon CONTRATEMPOS Clubbing event featuring LB of MAIS BAIXO, with music spanning dubstep, jungle and drum and bass. A second Clubbing edition followed at Arroz Estúdios on 27 December 2024. BRKALEG also runs Underground Bass of Lisbon, a series with episodes hosted by artists including Buster. Its radio associations include the CONTRATEMPOS show on Collect Radio and Linha de Baixo on Radio Ophélia, as well as Pedro Abril’s Strictly Bass podcast.
