Surprises often come from little-known or even completely unknown— this record is a case in point:Dumonde with remixes fromIll.Skillz andResonant Evil on. The B-side is not particularly memorable, although its semi-clownstep harmonic discord is interesting; but the remix by the AustriansIll.Skillz— is simply a masterpiece. An immensely powerful trance atmosphere, a beautiful theme, one of the best “epic” tracks, although there is practically no vocal here. The drop right at the beginning is excellent. PPK can take a break.by the way, the theme is reminiscent of Royksopp.
