Wigwam

Wigwam is a club at 54 Abbey Street Middle in North City, Dublin. It opened in late November 2015 in the renovated building formerly occupied by Twisted Pepper, which had closed that August; Bodytonic carried out the work. Early nights were built around local resident DJs, with reggae, soul, funk and disco among the music played.

The venue has a main floor, basement and rooftop terrace. The main floor and basement each hold 300 people. The basement is used for late-night club shows and has a Void Venu sound system; the main-floor PA comprises Void Air Motion, Stasys 4 and Stasys XV speakers, with a Midas M32R mixer. Wigwam’s in-house STACKED series puts club nights across the basement, main room and terrace. Promoters that have run events there include Outstraight Records, inHabit, Bodytonic and Rinse FM. Artists who have played include Ambit, Steak, KALLIOPE and Sahana.
