I spent some time with the Soma Lyra-8 and recorded a big batch of drones, pads and effects, then picked the best bits and turned them into a pack of 126 samples. I also used them to create 20 unique Serum 2 presets, making them easier to use and hopefully inspiring you to build your own sounds from them too.
The Lyra-8 is a really unique synth. It doesn't really have notes in the traditional sense, so everything is tuned by ear. Because of that, the samples aren't labelled by note but most of them are still quite musical / has tone. Just adjust the pitch by ear to fit your track. And don't forget the reverb (!), it really brings them to life!
The pack includes:
- 48 drones and pads
- 23 bass drones
- 55 ‘roarrr’ effects that work nicely for transitions
