BTK

BTK is the stage name of Brazilian DJ and producer Vinicius Honorio, who works in drum and bass. His music has appeared on Metalheadz, Blackout Music, Dispatch, Playaz, Shogun Audio, RAM Records, Virus Recordings and V Recordings. Honorio founded Dutty Audio, a drum-and-bass label that releases his own work and music by other artists. BTK has released three artist albums and collaborated with Optiv, including on the album Dirty Tricks. BTK and Optiv formed a drum-and-bass duo, with dancefloor-oriented music as their focus. Their debut album was released in 2012. An interview about their album noted that BTK had been DJing for 15 years at the time.

As a DJ, BTK has played Fabric in London and D.Edge in São Paulo, as well as Glastonbury, Boomtown, Outlook, Dour and Let It Roll. His releases have also appeared on Renegade Hardware. On V Recordings, he released “Try” and “Bandits,” featuring Mindscape.
