Charlotte Haining is an English singer from Leeds who is based in London. She has written and performed with BCee, Goddard and Becky Hill, and her work includes drum and bass and electronic music. Her releases have appeared on Spearhead Records, Shogun Audio, Liquicity Records and Ministry of Sound. She has also collaborated with Hybrid Minds, Sub Focus, Sigma, Friction and Mike Mago, and featured on Shane Codd’s single Always On My Mind. Haining also writes pop music outside drum and bass and regularly performs live, collaborating with emerging producers from around the world.
In 2023, Haining signed a record deal with Ministry of Sound for her artist project; her first release there was the single High Hopes, featuring Goddard. She also released the single Sinner for the label. Haining has worked with Rameses B on the single I Need You, and released Come & Go with Rameses B on Monstercat.
Her collaboration with BCee on the album Life as We Know It developed from several earlier tracks into a project rooted in personal experiences and emotions. Haining turned BCee’s written “brain dumps” of thoughts and ideas into lyrics and stories. She has said that writing about mental health and personal loss in drum and bass could help listeners feel less alone. The song “Almost There” drew on her experience of feeling lost while trying to establish herself in London as a songwriter and vocalist. In 2025, she released Heartstrings with Disrupta and goddard..
