Hannover, Germany, is where Dementia began producing, first under the alias Insanity. The early work was old-school breakbeat, released through Dementia’s own Reanimation label and Luna C’s Knite Force label. In 2006, Insanity became Dementia, and the focus shifted to drum and bass. After returning to Hannover in 2010, Dementia resumed production there. The drum-and-bass releases have appeared on DSCI4, Citrus, Fokuz, Full Force, Trim, Icarus and Shadow Law, with DJ Trace’s DSCI4 releasing the tracks Trippin Balls and Sunk.
Work with Rregula includes the single Echoes from the Future / Payback and the 2011 album Echoes from the Future, released on Trust in Music and featuring Optiv, Smooth and Trei. In 2014, Dementia and Rregula released the album Turning Point on Citrus Recordings, alongside the singles Turning Point Remix Compilation : Disturbd Side on Disturbed Recordings and Turning Point Remix Compilation : Citrus Side on Citrus Recordings. Their 2014 single Timeline - Optiv & BTK Remix / Doom Loop - Mefjus Remix also came out on Citrus Recordings.
