DON DARKOE

DON DARKOE is the stage project of Quin, the producer name associated with Quincy Pattipeilohy. Born in Indonesia and based in Australia, Quin first worked in trap before turning to drum and bass. Its sound centres on Australian jump-up drum and bass, with catchy melodies and distorted riffs. Early releases included the 2022 single Delicious Fairy Dust. The EP Predator followed on Crucast.

DON DARKOE has released music through Crucast, Dark Machine Recs, Macky Gee Music, My Home Is The Rave, Radar Records, Nothing But and Bassrush Records. The single Wanted paired DON DARKOE with Bass Ventura and Ekstatic on Crucast. A remix of ShockOne’s Say Woah was released through DMR and UKF. The 2025 single Need Me So brought DON DARKOE together with Macky Gee; that year also brought When Your Eyes Meet Mine/Wobble with Dux n Bass on Radar Records and IDK with Hedex on My Home Is The Rave. In 2024, Like That, featuring Cherry Morello, came out through NoCopyrightSounds. A podcast conversation that year covered music production, entrepreneurship and personal branding.
