Dux n Bass became interested in drum and bass at 14, after growing up near Heidelberg, Germany. He first made music through hip-hop, then focused on drum and bass as his connection to the Mannheim scene developed. Mannheim is now his base. More than 12 years of work in music production have also taken in label management, A&R, artist management, ghost production and DJing.
Dux n Bass has released music through Spinnin’ Records, Elevate Records, Crucast and Bassrush Records. His early credits include the 2017 single Dynamite, made with Girls Love DJs for Spinnin’ Premium. His collaborations have included Macky Gee and Jah Screechy on Walk n Skank, and Macky Gee on Surreal. In 2023, Friction joined him for Feels Like Summer. He also worked with Grace Barton on the single Break The Cycle, released through Elevate Records. With Emily Makis, Dread MC and T-Man, he made My Type.
His productions range across jump-up, dancefloor and liquid drum and bass, with melodic hooks and energetic production. The EP Storm EP arrived on 1 June 2024, with “Storm”, “U” and “Closer” among its tracks. His 2025 album is Empty Hearts and Empty Places. The album includes “Don’t Go”, “Your Touch” and “I’m Ok”. Other singles include Hive Mind, made with Degs and NCT for Hospital Records, and When Your Eyes Meet Mine/Wobble, made with DON DARKOE for Radar Records. Epitome is another release on Elevate Records. In 2026, he released Electricity with DUX and LICIA on EPITOME, and Rakaton with DUX on Wobbles & Waffles.
