Goes, in the Netherlands, is where Frank Nitzinsky grew up before beginning to release drum & bass as Eye-D in 1998. The Dutch DJ and producer’s early records appeared on Kultbox Records, including the EP We Eat Tulips for Breakfast that year. A year later, Eye-D released the single Evil Eye / Enemies. His music has also appeared on PRSPCT Recordings, Ruff-Teck Records, Citrus Recordings and Evol Intent Recordings.
Eye-D is one half of The Outside Agency, the hardcore duo formed with DJ Hidden, and the pair released the album Peer To Peer Pressure on PRSPCT Recordings in 2011. Eye-D has also worked with SPL, Black Sun Empire, Counterstrike and Evol Intent. A 2009 collaboration with Black Sun Empire produced the single Milkshake / Brainfreeze, released on Black Sun Empire Recordings. Eye-D has said that producing with friends makes the process more enjoyable, and frequently works with DJ Hidden as The Outside Agency. Other labels associated with Eye-D’s releases include Lost Soul Recordings.
