FFF is Dutch producer and DJ Tommy de Roos, born in Vlissingen in 1979 and based in Rotterdam. He began DJing in the early 1990s, mixing rave, techno and UK breakbeat hardcore, and cites rave, jungle and digital hardcore as influences on his early music. De Roos began experimenting with music in the early 1990s and started releasing it in the late 1990s through DIY cassette editions. His early production methods included tape loops, feedback and tracker software; he later used FastTracker and now works with Renoise.
In the mid-1990s, De Roos started Orange Socks, a cassette label for his own material and music by friends and tape-trading contacts. He began releasing music on vinyl in 2001, when his first vinyl track appeared on the French label Necromaniacs Industry. FFF was an early innovator in breakcore and raggacore, a dancehall-influenced offshoot. His work has crossed jungle, hardcore and breakcore, and he has said jungle remains a strong influence. During the mid-2010s, his sound shifted towards old-school jungle.
FFF released music on Planet Mu, Murder Channel Records and PRSPCT RVLT. His 12-inch track The Feeling appeared on Planet Mu in the 2000s. In 2011, he released the album 20.000 Hardcore Members Can't Be Wrong on Murder Channel, followed by Keep The Fire in 2013 and In Fear in 2016. His releases also include collaborations with DieTRAX and Coco Bryce.
De Roos launched the vinyl label 3AM Eternal in 2020 and runs the imprint. FFF released the album Eternal Mind in 2023. In 2025, he released the single Alert & Waiting on 7th Storey Projects. His 2026 releases include The Program on 3AM Eternal, INT003 on Intaception and Big Taste EP on Hardcore Energy.
