From Tallinn, Estonia, Indivision work as a drum-and-bass duo, with Markus discussing the project’s production and DJ work in interview. The first releases under the name, “Secret Vision” and “Rubik’s Cube,” came out in 2010. Markus also identified “Femme Fatale” and “Subway 51” as the first Indivision tracks released by Liquicity. The duo’s music has appeared on Liquicity, Toolroom, Subsphere, Beta and Ministry of Sound. Markus named Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers and Modjo among his musical influences.
Indivision created the label Indivision Music to put out the duo’s own music and help develop emerging artists. Markus described its remit as extending across electronic music genres, beyond drum and bass. The duo collaborated with Signal Craintif on “Take me Down,” and with Wreckage Machinery on “Difficult Times/Coals & Diamonds.” Profits from the latter release were donated to support cancer patients; Markus connected the cause to his mother’s death from cancer.
